Ron Jones, ein stolzer Obama-Wähler aus Philadelphia, erzählt CNN, daß er aus Begeisterung für seinen Helden ihn mehrfach gewählt hat. Vor einem Wahllokal im selben Ort haben sich zwei schwarze "Sicherheitsposten" mit Schlagstock und Messer aufgebaut und schüchtern Leute ein. Auch der Herausgeber des Kansas City Star Gregory M. Zieman wählt doppelt, in Kansas City und in Overland Park. John berichtet auf MSNBC von mindestens 112 000 doppelregistrierte Wähler in den Staaten Georgia, Florida und Ohio. Selbsternannte Wahlhelfer, Voter "Protection", der Demokraten stehen in den Wahllokalen und nötigen Wähler, für Barack Obama zu stimmen. So zu sehen in Toledo, Ohio, dem Wohnort von "Joe the Plumber".
